Our God never ceases to amaze me. He blesses me every day I as minister to those who are facing the challenges of life. I will admit that I “Do” nothing, I just try to “Be” there and let the Holy Spirit guide the conversation.
After a long career in banking and finance, I was looking at retirement and knew that God was calling me to something more. Listening to His calling, I completed a degree in Christian Studies at Salt Lake Theological Seminary and took an internship in Chaplaincy at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake.
In 2009, my husband Larry and I moved back to California to be closer to our grandchildren. We joined Centerpoint and have enjoyed the strong Biblical teaching and the commitment to service that is fostered in this church.
I volunteered for several years on the Hospital Visitation team and was so blessed by the people that I visited during difficult times in their lives. I have served for 4 years on the Deacon board.
Larry and I have been married 52 years. We have two sons, two daughters-in-law and four wonderful grandchildren. “Grandma” is my favorite title and I hope to be the influence in my grandchildren’s life that my Grandmother was in mine. She taught me what it looks like to love Jesus.
Golf is a passion and I spend much time on the golf course. I also love to bake, cook, and read, but people are my real passion. There are so many hurting people in the world and I love sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.
