Do You have a Prayer Request?
Centerpoint has teams that pray weekly for all prayer requests in a variety of settings. You can request prayer in several ways.
- Come forward at the end of each Sunday Worship Service to request personal prayer from one of our Sunday Prayer Partners.
- Write a prayer request on your Sunday Welcome Card.
- Call the church office 916-782-3186 (M-F, 9-5)
- Fill out an online Prayer Request Form.
Prayer requests are handled with confidentiality. With sensitive concerns, you can ask that your prayer request be limited to staff only. We're sorry, but we do not accept anonymous prayer requests. Additionally, we have several specialized groups that pray:
Urgent Prayer Chain is a phone and email prayer chain that prays for those in emergency health situations and other urgent needs. If you would like to join this team, please contact Pastor Nancy.
Prayer Partners are available after each Sunday worship service. You can receive prayer by simply coming forward after the service ends. All requests are confidential. If you would like to be a part of this ministry and pray with people once a month following one of the worship services, contact Mary Kay Dyer.Training is available.

Prayer Shawl Ministry provides shawls, for those connected to Centerpoint, who are hospitalized, have chronic illnesses, or have lost a loved one.To request a prayer shawl, contact Celia Blalock in the church office.
If you enjoy knitting or crocheting and have a heart for prayer contact Gail Rothwell. We have an easy-to-follow pattern for a prayer shawl. While creating the shawl, you pray for whoever God has in mind to bless with it. We have many testimonies of individuals who have received a shawl at a time of great need in their lives--physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They have been blessed with its warmth, and the knowledge that they are cared for and prayed over. Our next gathering will be on Friday, January 11 at 10:30am in the Family Life Center, Dining Room 118B.
