A special welcome from our MOPS Coordinator...

Motherhood is a one of its kind call. All mamas are uniquely crafted exactly the way God has intended, flaws and all. But what’s even more interesting, is that God gives moms the children that they are perfect for. We may not feel like it in the chaos of diapers, mess and general mayhem that raising kids brings, but it’s exactly what we are called to do.

We are made to crave community, love and support others, as we allow ourselves to be loved on. That’s what MOPS and MomsNext has been created for! This is the chance for all mamas to come and have their cup filled so they can pour into their children’s’ lives. Whether it’s a smooth morning with the kiddos or just barely made it out of the house with cereal still on your shirt, I invite you to come, find rest, hot coffee/tea, a hot breakfast not on a Disney character plate, and here you will find a loving group to help fill your cup!

Announcing MOMSNEXT

This year we have expanded MOPS to include MomsNext. MomsNext is a community of moms with kids past the preschool years. It is a division of MOPS International but is meant to meet the needs of the mother of school-aged children. Each local group will tend toward a general age-range of kids from early elementary school through high school. The larger questions that should be addressed in these groups are: What’s your next? And how does God play a part in it?

Unlike MOPS groups where moms are newly in the throes of motherhood, MomsNext moms are in the rhythm of parenting. However as their children grow, they are encountering new and specific parenting challenges. Despite the overload of information accessible to them, moms do not know where they should turn to get answers. They also have a new ability to lift their heads and see the broader world around them. They are in a phase of personal growth where they may have more freedom to pursue professional or personal interests now that their kids are older.

From the first sight of the double blue lines indicating pregnant to having kids that are in the battles of school life, ALL moms are welcome with open arms.

Check out our calendar, Facebook and Instagram for upcoming meetings, play dates, and more!  Feel free to contact me with any questions regarding our group!
