Interest groups

Interest Groups are a place to get to know others at Centerpoint and in our community who share your interest in a particular recreational activity. Bring your friends! Groups meet monthly or seasonally.

Crafters

Second Tuesday 12-2:30pm

Crafters meet the second Tuesday of the month in the Annex. Open to all, and participants may bring an older child (10+). If you plan to attend please contact Loretta.

Family Education Fellowship

Wednesdays 9am-12pm

This group is for those who homeschool children and wish to collaborate with others doing the same. The goal is to encourage and facilitate academics by providing a space for parents to meet as a community and educate the children in their lives together. All ages of children are welcome to attend. We meet every Wednesday from 9am-12pm in Room 204/205. Contact Molly for more information.

HANDS OF THE lORD qUILTERS

Second Monday 1-3pm

The quilters group meets once a month in the Annex. If you have an interest in making quilts for various organizations and joining others in fellowship as you quilt, please join us. Contact Sandy Nelson for more information.

Stretch Mind & Body

Mondays & Fridays 10-11am

All ages are invited Krisda Cripe's house. We will dedicate our one hour using Tai Chi exercises to focus on God’s power and love.

This group is for seniors to enjoy fellowship and "find a place" with people of common interest, and enjoy activities such as dining out, concerts day trips and more. Contact Norm Kreiser for more information.

tRAP & sKEET sHOOTING

Once Monthly

Join us for a round or two of trap shooting at Golden State Shooting Center at Ahart Ranch (formerly Coon Creek Trap & Skeet Club). What to bring: eye protection (sunglasses will do), ear protection (foam ear plugs at least), cash for shells and clay targets if needed. Contact David Hayward for the calendar and more information.
