Interest groups

Interest Groups are a place to get to know others at Centerpoint and in our community who share your interest in a particular recreational activity. Bring your friends! Groups meet monthly or seasonally.

Second Tuesday 12-2:30pm

Crafters meet the second Tuesday of the month in the Annex. Open to all, and participants may bring an older child (10+). If you plan to attend please contact Loretta.

Second Monday 1-3pm

The quilters group meets once a month in the Annex. If you have an interest in making quilts for various organizations and joining others in fellowship as you quilt, please join us. Contact Sandy Nelson for more information.

Holy Riders

Saturday, Once Monthly

The Holy Riders are a Motorcycling Interest Group. Whether you have a small motorcycle or a big one, come take a ride with the Holy Riders. Contact Doug Jacobs for more information.

Monthly in Summer

Come Kayaking with us! The Kayaking group meets seasonally to enjoy the outdoors together. Contact Mark Parks for more information.

First Wednesday of the Month

All women are invited for study and fellowship in the Family Life Center. Please RSVP to Carolyn Taylor at no later than the Sunday before.

This group is for seniors to enjoy fellowship and "find a place" with people of common interest, and enjoy activities such as dining out, concerts day trips and more. Contact Norm Kreiser for more information.

Once Monthly

Join us for a round or two of trap shooting at Coon Creek Trap & Skeet Club. What to bring: eye protection (sunglasses will do), ear protection (foam ear plugs at least), cash for shells and clay targets if needed. Contact David Hayward for the calendar and more information.

Women's Book Club

Occasionally, 10-Noon

Book Club Coordinator: Mimi Cudzilo
We all love a good book! And it's great to get together with other women who love to read, too. Join us 5-6 times a year to discuss our favorite books and enjoy time with friends. Be sure to check out our suggested reading list.
