Interest groups

Interest Groups are a place to get to know others at Centerpoint and in our community who share your interest in a particular recreational activity. Bring your friends! Groups meet monthly or seasonally.

Crafters

Second Tuesday, 11:30am-2:30pm

Crafters meet in the Centerpoint Annex. Open to all, and participants may bring an older child (10+). If you plan to attend please contact Loretta.

Disc Golf

Second Thursday, 3:30pm

All are welcome to play a round of Disc Golf. Our first meeting will be September 11 at Johnson Springview Park in Rocklin. Contact Matthew for more information.

Fishing Group

Monthly, 7:00pm

Our first meeting will be Friday, August 29, 7:00pm in the Dining Room (118A). Come join our informational meeting and share your favorite fishing spots. Kids are welcome to join with a guardian. Contact Dick Gold for more information.

HANDS OF THE lORD qUILTERS

Second Monday, 1-3pm

The quilters group meets once a month in the Annex. If you have an interest in making quilts for various organizations and joining others in fellowship as you quilt, please join us. Contact Sandy Nelson for more information.

Holy Riders

The Holy Riders are a Motorcycling Interest Group. Whether you have a small motorcycle or a big one, come take a ride with the Holy Riders. Contact Doug Jacobs for more information.

Kayakers

Come Kayaking with us! We meet seasonally to enjoy the outdoors together. Contact Mark Parks for more information.

The Reading Club

Quarterly, 4:30-5:45pm

The first meeting will be Tuesday, September 9 in the Centerpoint Library, light refreshments will be served. Bring your favorite book suggestions to discuss with other bibliophiles! We won't be reading the same books at the same time, but instead, sharing ideas and different genres to suggest to each other. Contact Julie Battenfield for more information.

Stretch Mind & Body with Tai Chi

Tuesday & Thursday, 9-10am

Starting September 23. All ages are invited to Paul J. Lunardi Park in Roseville. Class will begin and end with prayer and a devotional. Bring water and wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Contact Krisda Cripe for more information.

tRAP & sKEET sHOOTING

Saturday, Monthly

Join us for a round or two of trap shooting at Golden State Shooting Center at Ahart Ranch. What to bring: eye protection (sunglasses will do), ear protection (foam ear plugs at least), cash for shells and clay targets if needed. Contact David Hayward for the calendar and more information.

Walking Group

Monthly, 7:45am

The first meeting will be Friday, September 12 at Maidu Park in Roseville. Park near the Rose Garden. We will be doing 1 mile loops, so it's easy to stop when you want to! Contact Julie Battenfield for more information.

Women's Book Club

Occasionally, 10am-Noon

We all love a good book, and it's great to get together with other women who love to read, too! Join us on September 8 to discuss The Personal Librarian by Marie Benedict & Victoria Christopher Murray. On November 10 we will discuss When Crickets Cry by Charles Martin.
