Our Mission
God has called us to serve people in His name by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ in word and deed. Local Missions Outreach Team (LMOT) seeks to give everyone attending Centerpoint first-hand experience on what it means to be the hands and feet of Christ locally and nationally. We do this by encouraging our program ministries at Centerpoint to care for the wider community through identifying, organizing, and implementing service projects and by partnering with key organizations that care for the needs of the greater community.
We strive to provide opportunities for people of all ages to participate in local service activities throughout our community. We partner and support Christian organizations that are working directly with those in need. We also support our local community schools throughout the year. We endeavor to show Christ's love in everything we do.

Acres of Hope
Acres of Hope provides homeless women with children a home in a structured, Christ-centered campus for up to two years. Residents are mentored and encouraged as they learn practical life, parenting, and job skills. ReNew Boutique and Urban ReNew, located at 1725 Santa Clara Drive, Roseville, directly support Acres of Hope. During August, we collect household products to help the resident families.
Campus Life
We partner with this Christian parachurch organization at Eich Middle School by providing prayer, volunteers, financial support, campus improvement, and clean-up projects. In addition, our Journey Middle School Ministry coordinates closely with Campus Life on activities and events.
Care Home Facilities Card Ministry
During four major holidays (Valentine's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) our church families donate greeting cards filled with messages of love and care. We include a Bible verse and a small token to show these seniors that they're not alone and not forgotten. The collected cards are delivered to several local care homes near the church.
Community Schools
We work closely with our local schools, Crestmont & Sargeant Elementary Schools and Eich Middle School, through assistance with special events and tutoring as needed. During July, we collect school supplies for the elementary schools. In August, we have a "Clean-up Day" at Eich Middle School to spruce up the campus before school starts.

The Gathering Inn
With The Gathering Inn we serve the homeless in our community. On the 1st Sunday of the month we host 50-70 homeless individuals overnight; providing a warm meal, worship, craft activities, and hospitality. Each evening is hosted by a different Centerpoint group that plans the menu, prepares dinner, and eats with our guests. In 2023, Centerpoint hosted over 600 men, women, and children. In addition to financial support, during August we collect household paper & cleaning products for their residential facility and personal hygiene products to help their guests survive on the streets of Roseville.
Gleanings For The Hungry
In addition to financial support, teams from Centerpoint travel twice yearly to Dinuba, California to serve for a week with Gleanings for the Hungry, a Christian non-profit. We package dried soup mix made from vegetables donated by local farms, work on quilts, and help with maintenance projects at the Gleanings facility.
Military Care Packages
Every May we partner with the Sacramento Blue Star Moms to send care packages to America's deployed service members. We collect non-perishable foods, hygiene items, socks, and much more to send our love and appreciation for their service and sacrifice for our nation.
Samaritan's Purse
We partner with Samaritan's Purse, an evangelical Christian humanitarian aid organization, by sending teams (when available) to clean up and rebuild homes after natural disasters in the U.S.. The volunteers take time to listen, build relationships, and pray with those they are serving.
Sierra Pregnancy & Health
Sierra Pregnancy & Health is a Christian pro-life non-profit that shares the good news of Jesus Christ with their clients who are going through crisis pregnancy situations. There are numerous volunteer opportunities available. In addition to financial support, we also hold a yearly diaper & wipes drive in January. Everything is free to those in need!
World Relief, Sacramento
World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to engage the world's greatest crises in partnership with the local church. At World Relief, Sacramento, we come alongside refugees and other immigrants in vulnerable situations as they rebuild their lives. There are numerous opportunities to help welcome refugees fleeing persecution. In February, we collect items to help fill welcome kits. Additionally, once a month we help at their warehouse packing various dining or bedding kits.
