Centerpoint High School Ministry has been going on a mission to Ensenada, Mexico during Spring Break for over 20 years and to Yugo for about 9 of those years. Since then we have been able to foster relationships with church partners and pastors in Ensenada. Centerpoint now visits them multiple times throughout the year on house build trips and has a global mission team that keeps in contact and prays for them. We know that going to Ensenada for one week once a year may not prove to be beneficial in making a long-lasting impact, so our mission is to continue to partner with these pastors, churches, and families in Ensenada so that THEY can continue to pour into their communities the entire year.

We support them by doing construction projects, planning VBS, or helping equip them with the tools necessary for long-term ministry.
In addition, this year we are going to be doing High School’s first ever House Build. We are hoping to change the life of a local Mexican family and demonstrate God’s love to them by constructing a home in just four days. These homes require no experience and no tools, and are built from the ground up, where Yugo staff will guide us every step of the way!

Student Leaders are responsible for casting vision to the team and directing ministry during Team meetings and on a daily basis in Mexico. They should develop their teams spiritually and hold them accountable to growth opportunities. They are expected to help their peers process through their trip as it progresses. Student Leaders should be confident and ready to vocally direct a large group of students in the right direction and want to joyfully walk alongside and answer questions to students who have never been before. Student Leaders are accountable to student ministry director and adult leaders.
