Hwy 56 is a high-energy ministry at Centerpoint, especially for 5th & 6th graders, that motivates preteens to put Christ at the center of their lives and live a life for God

what we do

Our mission is to come alongside you and your preteen as they grow deeper spiritually and relationally with God

Sunday Mornings

On Sunday mornings, topical curriculum, fun games and service projects encourage 56ers to grow deeper spiritually and inspire them to own their faith.

EPIC Wednesdays

Hwy 56 also meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month for our mid-week outreach ministry EPIC. Here our mission is to Empower Preteens In Christ by building community and discovering God’s Word in new and exciting ways.

Road Trips

Our monthly “Road Trips” are a great way for 56ers to connect with others outside the church setting. Students interested in attending any of the Hwy 56 Road Trips must have a Parent Consent Form on file.

Service Projects

Different mission and service projects throughout the year are encouraged to help 56ers develop a servant heart.

Road Trip: Laser Tag Vs Journey

Sunday, May 17, 12:00 - 3:00pm

It's time for the showdown between Hwy56 and Journey! This year we will be going to Xtreme Craze for a couple rounds of laser tag! Drop off at Centerpoint (meeting in the Journey room for Pizza & Floats beforehand), and pickup at Xtreme Craze, 6694 Lonetree Blvd, Rocklin. Event cost $20/person. A completed 2025-26 Parent Consent Form is required to attend.

Move Up Sunday

Sunday, June 14

If your child is in grade school, they will move up on June 14! Please take them to the class corresponding to their grade in the fall. Preschoolers are grouped by their age as of September 1, 2026.  Contact our Kids Admin at [email protected] for more information.
